Kanban — is a simple an effective methodology for managing projects.
It was invented in Japan by the Toyota company. カンバン (kamban) — the system for organizing production and supplies that allows to make everything happen "just in time". The word "kamban" means "billboard" (Japanese — 看板); in financial environment we have a variant with wrong transcription in Latin (kanban).
Any project is divided into stages, and stages into tasks. Tasks are assigned to performers. During the working process a performer move tasks from one stage to another (for example, from "In process" to "Checking").
All notifications are made automatically.
Kanban is helpful because it's easy to implement it in a company; the interface is simple — you can figure out everything in 10 minutes and start working immediately.
